The municipality is refining design requirements for new missing middle housing in the Established Residential (ER) zones, which guide how low-rise residential areas in the Regional Centre grow and develop. This work is intended to improve the compatibility of new multi‑unit dwellings with existing neighbourhoods.

Residents are invited to share feedback on how the design of missing middle housing can better reflect the look and feel of their community. This input will help inform recommendations to Regional Council in 2026.
